From the questions, they dont actually sound any bigger then the Brembos in turns of surface area of the caliper.
No one in Perth is going to have experience with them, if it goes wrong your in a world of trouble compared to Brembos which you know will fit and work first go.

Yeah agreed .. Just saw this bit and it got me thinkin.
============ Q: Hi, I like to find out if your calipers suit any other brakes pads avaliable in the market like Endless or Project Mu. Rotors as well. I am looking to track this car in Australia. How do you compare against my brembos.. Henry Apr-11-08 A: Hello, yes, this calipers uses the same pads as the oem subaru sti brembo 4 pot calipers, thank you. Your oem brembo is 4-piston with aboout 30mm size per piston, gives a surface pressure of 120 per caliper. Our XS6-500 6-piston calipers consist of 6 piston, 2 x 38mm piston, and 4 x 27mm piston which gives a 184 surface pressure per caliper, that is approx 53% increase in stopping power, and this is just the calipers along. Our rotors are 330mm compare to oem size 303 or 320mm disc, that is another percentage increase, not to mention, our calipers only weights approx 2.5 KG forged aluminum per caliper, brembo is 4.2KG each and is compressed aluminum, not forged. We recommend the XB6-660 6-piston calipers match with 355mm for STi models. This is the bigger version 6-piston calipers, requires 18" or larger wheels. The surface pressure for the XB6-660 6-piston is 214 per caliper. From your oem brembo 120, upgrade to our XB6-660 with surface pressure of 214, that is approx 78% increase in stopping power. Please also keep in mind our rotors are made of 2-piece construction forged aluminum hub, it is gaurantee at least 35% lighter than your existing oem, just think of the rotation per minute, it is also a gain from aceleration increase. Please email me directly at xendotuned@yahoo.com if you have any more questions, thank you.

I honestly wouldnt really be worried about weight of the car rich considering you still have spoilers, sound deadening, rear seats, extra bits of metal etc. Not really a race car. Sound good but can they be backed up when something goes wrong is the real question.

Looks like china spec to me, I bet my endless workshop group buy is better value... Spikey is wrecking an '03 STi and is selling brembo's with rotors (front and back) for 1.8k.. thats better value and guranteed fitment with the 5x100PCD...do it!!

I think id go with Muggz, Rich. Its a proven item/brand time and time again. Last thing you want is china having epic failures at 110km/h into another car.
