that solves the problem for the second one.

my guess for the first one is a connection to the wastegate controller.
does the car run? is there vacumm on it when the engine is idling?

steve.

The car runs fine. When you hit bost you can hear a whistling. I taped over both the hoses just to see if thats where the whistle is coming from and its not which told me they have defeniatly been pulled off something and werent just leftovers from previous owners.

i live in fremantle.

if your car is overboosting, you've probably disrupted the wastegate lines.

which boost controller? the stock one or the greddy one?

if i remember correctly, the stock boost controller has a vac line that goes to the c/canister.

Top pic looks like the hose that goes down to the fpr....*danger* ! if you don`t connect this it will go lean on boost !

Has it got the std fpr or ?

it doesnt lean on boost. still runs richish.

Chee any chance you could take a few more shots of your engine bay? like one where you can see the charcoal canister and some close ups of the boost controllers.

I have a feeling the car really needs a vacuum line overhaul.

middle hose of the boost controller connects to the turbo outlet.
side hose of the boost controller connects to the wastegate actuator.
2 of the hoses (middle and passenger side) of the charcoal canister connect to metal hoses about 10cm away.
the fat hose (drivers side) of the charcoal canister connects to the intake post afm. the smaller hose from the one way valve (about 10cm away from the canister and on the fat hose) connects to a T join which goes to the brown sensor on the RHF strut tower.

Only lines that size that go off the manifold in that position are the fpr and ported vac line for the charcole canister, I can see the ported vac line is still connected...

Having the line disconnected to the fpr will make it run rich off boost(no vac to reduce fuel pressure) and lean on boost(no positive pressue to increase fuel pressure with boost).....

Get someone who knows how the fpr works to check its still connected
