Vacuum line help
Hi guys, got the car running again but have noticed 2 vacuum lines not connected and I never pulled them off so chances are ive accidentally knocked them off. Upon test driving the car I hear a loud whistle and when on high boost it just keeps going up past 15psi (supposed to be .8 bar)
anyway the one Im sure is making all the noise and screwing the boost is a fat hose coming from the charcoal canister. Does anyone have a photo of there engine bay so I can see where this goes? The other one I found tucked away just next the the left side of the throttle body (near where the 3 vacuum lines connect to. Its a tight hose and I cant find anywhere around it where it goes, chances are that one has been like that since we got it. Any ideas or photos of a 94 wrx bay so I can see? cheers. |

Why don't you take a photo of your engine bay and the loose hoses in question.

Top picture looks like the vacuum line that goes to the fuel vapour canister. Not too sure on the bottom one.

ATM that already has a hose coming from the bottom of the stock boost soelnoid. Also the hose had a 90deg joiner on it which makes me think in must have joined to another hose somewhere?
I taped up both the hoses to see if the noise would go away but it doesnt so it doesn't. Ive gone over the whole side of the car heaps of times but I can't find anything :S I think ir eally need a photo of someones engine bay or to see it in person. |
