Default Is my old suspension stuff worth anything to anyone?

Hi Guys,

I have all the old stuff that came off my car sitting here, would like to offload it if it is worth anything. Have the 4 struts, and what I think are the stock front and rear sways. There is also a random box of parts :\... The springs on the struts are lowered whitelines I have been told.

I will get pics up soonish, just thought I would check before I chuck stuff out.

Cheers

i'm keen for your rear strut tops if you're not using them with your new suspension

edit may also take the rear springs off your hands too

Has to be better than the stock GC8 suspension I've got at the moment, how much for the lot?

05 sti suspension is sellable (around 200) as the forrie guys use them for a decent drop.

you can make it fit in a gc8 if you use some shims to take up the extra width in the hub bracket. Its a little dodgy but it works.

and you have to slot the top holes of the with a dremel, and then rotate the top hats - thats just the front, the rear strut tops won't bolt onto the gc8 chassis, so then you will have to use gc8 strut tops on the rear which don't accomodate the tapered springs, so then you will have to use your gc8 springs too, your car may now actually sit higher at the back because the lower spring mount is higher on the 05 sti struts than the gc8 struts to accomodate for stock 17's on the 05 sti's, i have also found that the rear struts tend to increase (+ive) camber on the rear becasuse of the different lower brackets

oops mybad thought it was 05 sti gear for some reason

then yes if its only my03 wrx gear (pcd 5X100) you won't have to slot or shim the fronts but as you said the rear strut tops def won't fit

haven't finished my morning coffee yet.... wakey wakey hahahahaha
