Default Where to buy light flywheel?

Hey all,

Have to get the clutch done on my GC8. Got the Exedy HD kit ready to go but would like to swap the flywheel over for a lighter one if my budget can stretch.

Who sells light flywheels around here, like a JUN, Cusco or Exedy and how much would I be looking at? Not after crazy lite, just between 5-6kg I guess.

Thanks Shinobiken, good site. They've got a JUN one for about $440 shipped which is pretty good.

RXqME: Yeah RMS are gonna do the clutch for me and yeah, the flywheel they have is $650 but it's a little bit out of reach. Not sure of the brand either.

Interesting thread on NASIOC about clutches / flywheels:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...lywheel+weight

Check out the excel document for effective mass reduction by using a lightweight flywheel:
flywheel.xls

Don't know how accurate it all is, and it's for MY02+ but still a good read.

Going too light can really make life difficult so beware!

i got a jun ultralight (4.6kg) feels great, i installed it when i installed an RA 5 spd dccd 4.444 box, this combo really reduced the laggy feel of my vf-22 and i was totally stoked with the improvement of driveability, i must admit though with the revs rising that much faster its really easy to bang the rev limiter
