It will end up costing you a lot more than you first think...just sell the RX and buy a WRX and be done with...

Depends also on how much you are able to do yourself. Be prepared for time to blow out coz theres always something that gets overlooked. One option which could work out cheaper as well is to do an STI driveline conversion, put in a front mount and keep the body looking as it is. Stealth FTW.

do a search this has been covered, but a refresher is always nice.

is it worth it? probably not.

not only do you need an engine + drivetrain (gearbox , diffs?), you then will need to tune it, at least a new bonnet for TMIC or stretch for a FMIC.

on top of that you miss out on the wrx goodies like the momo stering wheels, rims possibly leather seats.

if you could find a mechanically sound write off it may be finacinally viable to tranfer most of the bits.

but if your paying trade price or more, then adding labour. go buy a stock wrx.

Buy an S202 from Japan, put all the good bits from it (i.e. everything) in the RX shell, and paint it yellow
