Default spacesaver spare wheel

this may be a stupid question and i apologise for it now if it is......
i have just replaced my very ltd edition 15" uk prodrive speedline wheels after a little kerb bashing with some blingy 17" ones. My question is this, do i have to change my spacesaver spare wheel to a larger size one or is it ok as is????
thanx
deano555.

I take it you went down in tyre profile enough to maintain the same rolling diameter. If so your current one will be fine but try not to use it any more than you have to regardless of what wheels you have and always on the rear.

If you haven't maintained the same rolling diameter remember your speedo is now wrong.

Put your space saver next to your new wheels, if it's the same height no problem, if not find a new one or get a full size spare.........much better.

Is the STI space saver different to WRX one, Eg: Brembo's VS Non-Brembo's?

As i have different wheels anyways, probably not a good idea to use 17" space saver on 18"s anyway - damage to differentials etc.

Is there like an OK for like 1 or 2kms, or pushing around a worskshop when out of gear etc?

Rim size doesn't matter.

It all comes down to rolling diameter. This should be pretty similar to not cause damage for the small distance you need to use a space saver for.

And yes there is a difference between a Brembo and non-brembo space saver.
