My HID high beams are here, just need to put them in. Maybe I should do fogs too?

Foggies aren't requried in Australia .. might be alright for a bit of country driving. Un-necessary imho.

When did you last see fog?

would only use the fogs when I use my high beams like when I'm on a road with no street lights etc.

Unless of course it is actually foggy. Last time there was fog was about two months ago. I get your point though, fog is pretty rare.

Do you need special lights to run the hid's? Like special projectors?

I would say projectors mate, just so the light does't scatter too much! I haven't seen them without yet, so can't comment on how bad they would be...

I think it depends on the car/headlight as to weather they are too bright for on-coming traffic. The only ones that I have seen that piss me off were in older 4x4s and older falcadores.

They were good down south but when I turned my highs on they look hell yellow now and there is a line where the light suddenly falls off from the high beams! I think I'll be ok without fogs for now though. Not doing any more dirt rally style wine tours for a bit. It took almost three hours to wash the car and get all the orange mud off.

Not sure when I'm going to fit the highs, talk to Timmeh! I already paid for mine so there goes one of his HB3 sets. I think your highs are HB3 too and he should still have 2 sets left.
