Default Much demand for 207 internals?

If i put in a 2.2 kit, is there much point in selling the forged crank, rods and pistons from the 207?

Is there much point putting these goodies into an open deck 205 with say a spun bearing or melted piston?

Probably better off getting hold of a tired engine and building your short block, then sell yours with all the forgies etc as a short block. That way the bearings are gonna mate up to the block and crank without any disruption, and the added bonus is you can build your new motor while your car is still drivable.

That's what I was thinking too.

Reminds me of a Simpsons episode where Homer sews tweed patches onto a leather jacket.
Marge: "But Homer you've destroyed a perfectly good jacket!"
Homer: "Correction, TWO perfectly good jackets!!"

Good times LOL
