Aircon fumes
Hey peoples,
So today i'm driving along with the aircon on and I notice that I can smell a petrol type smell ... at first I thought thta it must have been from another car around me and the smell was being sucked in. But its still coming ... what could it be ? I've looked to see if I can pinpoint any fuel leaks but there's nothing screaming at me. I don't get any smell without the aircon on ? Any help would be great. Cheers Stuart

Mould on evaporator core/ mould in a'c case.
Fortron make an anti bacterial/ anti mould product that will kill the smell. Also check fuel lines at the filter for weeping.

go to a autosparky or aircon specialist, they can spray some deodorizer into the vents , will make the smell go away...unless your evaporator is leaking... *thats bad* ...
