Id get a low KM second hand vf35. That'd be the cheapest and most suitable option unless you want to fork out the $1500 for a brand new vf34.

VF22 will be able to support the power you are wanting to achieve, however it is quite an old turbo and fragile. A VF34 or VF35 will be best suited for what you want to achieve, and should be more responsive than a VF22.

looking at prices, the vf35 is only a bit cheaper than a vf34. is it worth paying a little more and getting the 34? also regarding engine life, reliability would this take a hit with having those hp figures? Last edited by smerm07; 28-06-2009 at 02:32 PM. |

I have been running 250hp on a 205 for a while now, all going well. Just keep it serviced, use nice oils, upper engine cleaner, good spark plugs, always use a premium 98 and meet the service intervals and it will be fine.
i have had no reliability issues other than my brandt causing me electrical issues, which is now resolved |
