Put your stock parts back on until you are ready to bolt-on and tune for your mods.

only thing on at the moment is the pod, will wait till i have everything then chuck it all on n get a tune. thanks

Its not the pod thats going to harm your engine, its your exhaust. Unless your exhaust is cat-back?

From what i've heard a pod filter adaptor can and will change the tune alot more than an exhaust because of the slight changes in the id of the afm pipe....

yep, different diameter pipes (to stock) are danger without a tune

Im pretty sure GC8's are the ones that are a little more robust when it comes to minor modifications but as i have been told before, running rich can cause a glazing of the bores aswel IIRC.
