Hey all

just wanting some thoughts on this one??

My car is still under warranty but as i have done mods to my rear lights and amps in the area im thinking subaru might not be able to help me.

the question i have is my door open light is constantly on with all doors closed. I checked my boot and the light did not turn on or off when i closed the boot it just stayed on so i figure my problem is there. The latch and the switch seem to be fine but for some reason the light and door open symbol stays on....

any suggestions on what to do?

as long as you have not tampered with the wiring in the door, boot circut it will be fine just let them know if it is not a warrenty item to call you and stop work on it. if the light in your boot is staying on when the boot is closed more than likely the latch ,as they have a switch in them.

have u tried unpluging the latch wire for boot and physically joining them together see if makes light go off then might say if switch is faulty or not..

Do u have a Aftermarket Alarm system in car might also be cuasing a prob

i have the funny thing i even disconect the light and then the latch and then put it all back together again and still the same problem.....oh well off to subaru on monday... thanks for your help peoples
