Grip is fine for a street tyre. I haven't pushed them full tilt, but yet to find the limit for death.
I'd guess they would sit just under the RE001's in dry performance, but the wet performance is brilliant. The noise reduction in the cabin is the biggest thing I love though. Also Ledger runs them on his C63, therefore my car is nearly a C63
