Its all in the wording, alex explained it relative to speedo reading, not actual road speed.

A SMALLER tyre will make the SPEEDO read HIGHER at a given road speed.

Send saint a PM as he runs them.

They are ok for a short rallysprint, or sprint series type of thing.
They overheat after 2 or 3 laps at barbs and get squirmy.

They are cheap but they do an ok job, but they will not compete with the yoko's and the like.
I find the limit of them quite easily, and wont be getting them again.

Any recommendations on tyre suppliers SOR, given I have used TOYO R888 before I'm leaning that way again unless somebody has any recommendation. The car is destined for targa west and will more than likely be close to the rear so not searching for super grip that falls off too quickly.

Are the new version of the r888's out yet?

I was pretty happy with the Hankook z221's in a medium compound. They should suit targa as they hang on really well once they come on.

Try John Fowler or Kostera's.
