Rubber CV boots
Anyone know who can change the Rubber CV boots?
My two front Wheel CV boots has split n dripping oil everywhere, needs to get it changed. Cheers Hung |

Any mechanic can do it, its nothing major, just make sure you dont do any offroading and get a heap of dirt in the cv joint while the boots ruptured

JWS will swap the complete shaft for around $100 fitted.
Oil dripping? sounds like the diff side seal is leaking.....CV's are filled with moly grease.

heh, i've had 4 CV's go in my GX, i'm over cleaning the grease off...

I just had Outer Control in Myaree put some new boots on after getting some new driveshafts. They charged $120 to re assemble and put four new boots on and grease etc. They did it while I waited. Was most impressed.
edit: $120 was for 2 complete shafts. Re assemble / new grease / boots / clamps / nut for the end. Cheers Brendon
