Power intake seems to be the best, $104 off ebay. Can't go wrong!

$99 bucks from Vision R in o'conner, cheap as, will cost more when he gets the next batch of Apexi's Panel filters the guy said cause he had heaps his selling the left over stock only around 3 or 2 left on the shelf.

I noticed its sucking more air in now that i change it, bit more pull, i can hear it more too .

Cheers Grego

Good to hear, cheers for that! Don't be shy to add anymore comments after a few days of driving around with it

Looks like you have to ditch half of the stock airbox - so it fits into the top half of the box which connects to the AFM / intake pipe and the metal mesh holds the filter in place, but you get rid of the rest of the airbox and resonator etc.

Without the remainder of the airbox assembly it would draw in hot air from the engine bay so it's not really advantageous over a pod (except that it's air inflow only comes from one direction and it would be pointing toward the intake pipe coming out of the guard...not enough of a benefit imo)

First I've seen of it too, and i'm not a fan of it - certainly not for a WRX anyway... and you wouldn't be able to see the shiny bling mesh as it points downard on WRXs

+1 for the Apexi,

just picked one up yesterday for $99, from visionr

definitely pulls a 'little' harder, more so in high revs 5-6k+ is where you start to notice. also a little bit louder (but not by heaps)

its hard to say, maybe a 2% gain? for $99 its better than a stock filter (especially if your old filter is dirty as all hell)
