Default Installing Front mount....HELP!!!

I'm transplanting a front mount from a doner car to my MY01 and having ripped off the Front Bumper I've fount the front cross member on the doner has been cut in half to fit the cooler

Will this decrease lateral structural stability greatly??

Cheers, Paul

If your talking about the bumper beam, then yes it will greatly reduce the strength of the car in a frontal impact, if its been cut in any way.

Joe / Scott, its the bumper beam thats been chopped on the doner car. Big chunk of it missing. Seems to be done professionally though!

Thinking this wouldnt be ideal in an accident but is this the norm for fitting FMIC's to 01/02's ?

its the norm on fitting pretty much ANY front mount to a cae, unless you do it custom and do it yourself..

every kit ive seen you have to cut..
