Default Replacing Brant keypad - how to?

Had a look and didnt find anything about this so hoping someone knows,

My pin pad on my Brant is fucked. The poor guys at RMS have a world of trouble keying in my pass code as does my hubby. I dont have so much trouble but I do have the touch. So anyway I got a new one on its way.

Went into good old Bunbury Subaru to order it. The guy wasnt sure which of the 7 or so my00 models I would need so I asked if he could call Brant and find out..... to which he asked..... who is Brant

What I want to know is ...... it looks like a simple case of unplugging one keypad and plugging the new one in..... is it that simple or is it gonna need some sort of programming to change them?

Dont know if its just plug n play with the keypad but
there was someone on here selling a whole unit brand new
for $200 that may help if you get stuck with
parts.

Yep unplug old one - plug in new one - easy

looks like and clips in like a telephone cable plug
dont break off the little clip - make sure you press it down and it will slip straight out........

Brant should have been un-invented.
Would have to be one of the worst security systems EVER.

Im curious about your reasons behind this statement,
is there any other anti car jacking systems out there
that are better than the Brant?
