Default Opinion on brake upgrade.

Hey guys,

My front brakes (pads and rotors) are due for a change really soon. Im looking to upgrade to some slotted rotors and pads with a bit more bite than OEM replacements as the car is making a bit more power now.

Been reading up on some brake threads and the DBA4000 slotted rotors seem to be pretty good and liked by many. I was thinking of pairing some DBA4000s with bendix ultimates, what do you guys think?

Other option would be going for the Project Mu upgrade that Tenagah has going on, the SCR Pure plus 6 rotors with NS pads.

Both will be around the same price installed, just want to get some opinions between the 2 combinations as i heard Project Mu make some very good brake products.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Cheers
-Nick

Rda slotted discs, EBC greens pads are a good street/ hills combo.

If you are interested in a set of pads that are a step up from ultimates, then i have a brand new set of bendix street road track pads for sale
great pad for anything but real high speed track work. If not i would recommend ferodo formula. great pads for high speed work.

Anyone have any experiences with the Project Mu upgrade (Pure plus 6 rotors and NS pads) that Tenagah offer? After some feedback.

If not, i will probally just got for the DBA4000s and decent Bendix pads as they seem to be tried and tested like the VF34 and STi TMIC combo

DBA4000's are good, but Bendix Ultimates are not so good ..

WhiteRX - I am running Ferodo Formula's in Brembo's and they have been good to me so far, other than being fairly sqeaky when cold.

I would not recommend bendix ultimates as an upgrade. I have dixcel type m street pads for brembos, bugger all dust, nice bite, no squealing after 4 months.
