Do you realise that you need to get a unichip authorise tuner to tune it?
and its not good to stick the chip in without a tune?

what do you mean its already been tuned?

If you means its already been tuned to the seller's car, that's not "tuned"
its tune to his/her mods, and settings
its not same, same

BOOM before tune....love's it..........

Get it fitted by someone who knows how to do it.

If you still decide to fit it yourself.....Don't come back here and whinge that the uni-chump blew your engine the first time you came on boost after fitting it and driving it in an untuned state for your specific engine.

Who's tuning it?

There's only one unichip tuner now, and that's Tim Slako

Its not an issue for MY98 to install it himself if he can get hands on the wiring diagram as long as he doesn't boot it

Am curious to know whether he's spoken to Tim about tuning the unichip and other tuners around for other ECU/piggy back options for his MY98
