for the v5/6 sti's they came out with pfr7g plugs. They are differently constructed and are a racing plug. pfr6b are for the standard wrx's

Should I just keep the plugs that came with the engine then. They say NGK IRI 7 on them. Are they more then likely still good and last me a good while. I don't reallyu want to buy a new set if these ones are still ok. Engine goes in tomorrow.

i got those hks iridium spark plugs.. no diff to be honest and it's made by denso anyway..

the better ones are the M-series plugs offered by hks.

To be honest, bolt-on mods aren't considered that heavily modded yet... but to each is his own. anyway great list of mods though.

managed to break the magical 200atwkw mark yet?

Tough to crack 200awkw with a 34/P18 on a EJ205 without an aggressive tune/happy dyno. Much easily done with a P20 housing.

Mine made 190awkw with similar mods.

I have no idea what kinda power it will put out but it should be a big improvement on the stock WRX engine I had in it before. Now that i'm running the STI enigne I should be able to run a bit more boost. The total cost of the project has cost me $4700 Including the tune so I think I have done pretty well.

What boost?

If you're running around 19-20 psi or more, go the NGK PFR7Bs. Any less, go the 6Bs

p20 housing is just a little bigger than the p18 takes two minues to fit also

you can get the p20 housing off the td05 turbo

Cool, I'll keep my eyes peeled for a P20 Housing then. To answer Balistics question, I think i'll be running around 20 Psi. The engine just got fitted today so until Allstars do the tune I won't really know. Will the P20 housing make it laggy?
