Default Car not starting

I have just finished installing my STI engine and i can't get it to start. I can hear the new fuel pump priming and there is a spark. Any ideas on where to look next? Everything seems to be plugged in.

No immobiliser fitted. One thing I have noticed is that my turbo timer is not working anymore. Don't know if that is related. It has been a marathon effort getting it to the stage it's at. Cramming the 06 STI top mount with carbon STI strut brace was a bitch.

check if you have injector pulse, mabey get it to a garage see what fault codes it chucks up. check the turbo timer cables, that could well be the problem as that breaks the circuit when it times out.

Yeah, I checked the wiring of the turbo timer. Everything seemed to be attached. There is a spark and fuel so I don't understand why it wouldn't just kick over. How do I check for injector pulse?

get a test light disconet an injector and put the test light on the +terminal. if it flashes while cranking you have pulse, this means fuel+sprak=explosion something should happen. are you running the sti ecu.

Using the standard WRX ECU, I was wanting to get it started so I could drive to Allstars and get my Power FC installed and tuned. I'll test for a pulse this morning, hopefully I can get this sorted.

Ok, checked the power lead to the injector and one had constant power and the other had no power. There was no pulsing of the test light when cranking the engine. It just had constant power. What now!!

flat bed
your workshop of choice

Double check the looms, triple check everything is plugged in. There's 3 different points to the loom in the engine bay alone, so check those to start with.
