Default V5/6 STI vs 99/00 wrx

Hey all,

What are the differences between the 99/00 vintage WRX and the STI?

From what i know its only the Engine and Centre diff??

2 pot rears for the sti, quick rack steering on the sti plus body mods, alley wishbones,intercooler water spray and a few other bits depending on model...

Differences are:
Sti Has:
4.44 diffs
Inverted struts
Stiffer spring rates
Alloy lower front control arms
Alloy bonnet
less sound deadening
different steering rack (faster ratio)
Different engine mounts
Different gearbox mount
Factory short shift
Carbon strut brace

That's what i can recall off the top of my head.

No waterspray on aussie version 6's.

climate control, interior trim, gold wheels (5 or 6 spoke), vf28 turbo, colour coded handles mirrors and skirts, unpainted intercooler, silicon intercooler inlet hose, red wrinkle manifold, higher amp alternator,

v6 sti also a solid rear firewall behind the rear seat to increase rigidity (wrx is open through to boot - split fold).

My (as in, mine) 99 V6 STi has single pot rears .. I think the 00 models had 2 pots?
