Default Exhaust Flange Questions

Am wanting to put my new 3" turbo back system onto my wrx myself, but first I need to get an exhaust shop to weld two flanges onto the new cat. That's cheap as to get done, but I need to tell him what angles to weld the flanges on so that the front pipe and middle pipe bolt up once they are on the car..

Am I heading for problems if I dummy the system up on the floor and see where the flanges will sit. Is it much safer to just pay him to fit the whole thing? He started talking about the front pipes being a biatch to change and I heard $$$ so thought just get him to weld the flanges ($40)...

any opinons??

Cheers
