Default Manifold issues...

Hi guys,

I have a 95' RA and want to fit a decent top mount to it.

Problem is the manifold and throttle body take up too much room to fit a decent size cooler (Have JME's old charge cooler sitting here that I want to fit that if I can, it will bolt straight up to the newer but wont fit the older manis).

My other car has a 99' STI manifold on it, can I swap them over with relative ease? Or am I looking at pandoras box? Engine swap is not an option either.

the early manifolds make it very difficult,

unfortunately you cant swap to a later model manifold either (due to the different heads)

its going to need fab work any way you look at it...

98 will fit, but won't achieve anything. The ones with the bigger clearance all have the staggered holes and need the 99 onwards heads.

Thought I'd resurect instead of starting a new thread.

Due to having this pain in the ass manifold, which top mount would be best suited and easily fitted.

Can go front mount if need be but would rather top mount.

Recomendations, or point me the right way?
