Default oil temp guage

ok, before people start, i have searched... and no i couldnt find a solid answer...

i am about to invest in some guages but can only get the following
boost, oil pressure and EGT....

i was hoping to get a oil temp and ditching either the oil press or egt... but cant actually get an oil temp guage to match the others (green backlit defi's are now out of production)

so my question is, by running an oil pressure, am i still goin to have a good idea of how my oil temps are going? or will the guage not be fluctuate enough

Regards,
Adam

Yes............

you'll learn the difference between hot & cold oil pressures.
Knowing what is normal for your engine makes it simple to spot anything going a miss.

I agree, you will soon work out what 'normal' pressures are at different temps, and hence know something's (temp) not right when the needle flucuates.
However, have you had a look at Vision R in o'connor Adam? I was a there a few weeks back, and he had most Defi's in most colours, and adapters, sandwhich plates etc all in stock. I bought water temp, oil pressure, and boost. All in black faced, green back lit. I didn't ask about oil temp though.
