mmm air con isnt working either!!! By lag is that the bit before the (boost??!) speed kicks in. Had a few wrxys behind me at lights thinking im gonna go hard at green, i want to find a happy medium if thats poss speedy start thats not being cocky.

Seriously though - with anything less than a button (sl*t clutch... lol), a mere 'blip' of the right pedal to somewhere between 1k -> 1.5k should be more than enough to get you going. Talk to previous owner - find out exactly whats sitting in front of the gearbox.

im at about 2500 rpm it was a bit hard testing today im pretty sure its me versus the clutch! Practice practice and more practice.
Forgot to mention too if you do spot me out and about youll know its me by the dj that rides up front im talk of the town around kindy! At the carwash the other day he spotted a similiar car and loudly and proudly stated that ours was better-im starting him young! He loves wrxys and gets super excited seeing them around

i dont know why its taken me so long to get this up on here.....my rpm has been dropping slightly when i let the clutch out should i just practice with handbrake to keep rpm steady??? Though looking at a previous thread is it possible the clutch needs to be upgraded to an exceedy? Or is it just that i suck driving the STi
