Recovering Oil from the IC
so I'm pretty sure i have a blow by issue, I will be putting in a catch can soon but would like to clean out any oil in my IC?? this is where it will be hey?
just a matter of pulling it off and tipping out the oil ey? Can I flush it?

use petrol to flush it (IMHO) as it's volatile and will clean out easily, and then run through with water. be sure to make sure it's completely dry before refitting water in your cylinders isn't a very good idea i think
if there's oil in your IC, there will probably be oil in your inlet tract as well, might be worth cleaning out the inlet pipes as well if you can be arsed :P just my 2¢ |

Bugger putting water through the I/C at all when you've put Petrol through which will evaporate nicely anyway. Why run the risk at all of getting water in your cylinders ?
