Hey team,

have blown one of the little globes that backlight the climate control. They are a clear globe that kind of push and twists straight to the circuit board of the centre console unit. Any idea where to source from??

try sourcing them from subaru or jws (if here in perth). Tried a diy with globes from dick smith and blew the dimmer switch for the dash, expensive to replace. globes should be about $2-$5.

Just remove the blown one and take it with you to show them.

Geoff, might take you up on that. Called Subaru....Try your local auto lec. Tried my local austo lec...You will have to get them from Subaru. Ha ha.

They are basically the clear ones that backlight the climate control that have a white base on them that kind of bayonett fits to the circuit board. There are two of them. One was blown. I farked around with them last night swapping them to see if it was a circuit or globe issue. Now neither work. There are some things I just shouldn't mess with. Am figuring they are a little fragile and I might have twisted them out a bit roughly.
