Default +33 Offset

I searched for 2 hours but I never really got the answer I wanted.

I have a set of Black Sparco Viper-R rims, they are 16s 7J +33 offset, just how much trouble am I getting myself into? I know this might get some flaming so my suit is on!

It can be done, but there will be compromises. I have fitted a set of 18x8 +30 on my CG8.
It needed guard rolling and a fair whack of neg camber, looked good though.

Good to hear, I don't mind modifying the car to make it work properly, I am just curious about how much needs to be done.

Guard rolling and a neg camber are not major issues, but I wanted some input before I start into something unknowingly.

Yeah, but mine are 8 inch wide, his are 7's so the outer edge be ~16mm further inward.
(13mm being half of the inch narrower and 3mm from the less offset)
Bolt them on and try them. I ran 225/40/18. If you're thinking they'll be too wide go back to 215/45/16 or 215/40/16 perhaps?

Do you have any pics, I have yet to see a Suby with a +33 offset, this intrigues me more and more.

Have a look on NASIOC. Whole thread in the gallery dedicated to cars running a lot more aggressive than +33

I am not sure about GC8 guards, but i once had 17"x7" +30 on my GD and the wheels were still sitting quite in from the guards. I am saying 7" +33 on a GC8 will be fine with no guard modification, the width and offset is not aggressive at all. Mild guard rolling cant hurt if your going to lower it alot though.
