I posted prior to anyone offering you another option. An assumption was not made, I worked with the information you gave.

Please explain how it is a stupid question, if your car is stuck somewhere and you need a code to get it operational again would you not endevor to find this "master code" that the manual refers to.

i think some of you need to think before you speak, posting spam in other peoples threads is against your number 1 forum rule, yet there seems to be alot of you who do it...

but it is good to see some genuine members willing to offer usefull advice.
