guys, car (my00) has been gettin resprayed and has been off the road for a few months now. battery has gone flat and the panel beater has had to call subaru to bypass the immob to start the car.

Now im about to pick the car up and need the brant reset. so im guessin i need the master code ? I remember reading that some people have got it over the phone from subaru if they ask nicely ? I spoke to Peel and they told me i have to take it to them and let them do it (guess i wasnt nice enough)

another guy from subaru said its the immob has its own moduel and it could be on its way out.

id like to avoid getting it to subaru just beacuse i dont really have time. any suggestions ?

yer..u got the same car me.... i asked about changing the pin/code ....and they said they needed the master code to do that....they said bring it into subaru if i happen to get it serviced there and they'll do it for free...otherwise charge $50 or something...i dunno if it helps but thats just what i know.....
