Default Will it run ok?

Looking at installing my new VF34, FMIC, Fuel pump and silicon intake onto the car myself before taking it to a workshop to have the autronic fitted and tuned. Will the car run ok with the stock ecu with those mods so I can drive it to the workshop? Have no intention of driving it hard before ecu goes on just to the mechanic.

Or would it be better to install the Autronic and use the base maps to drive it to the workshop?

Cheers

yes it should drive ok, just keep it off boost maybe throw in some tolulene or octane booster to help prevent detonation just in case

It'll run fine - just keep the revs below 4000 and the throttle below 60%, and don't push it.

Sweet thanks guys...

I have some DIY doco's off the forums for the fuel pump and the turbo, anyone know of an FMIC install guide anywhere for GC8's?

Cheers

It will be fine to drive to the mechanics without the autronic installed. Just dont be silly putting 100% load and revving it right out. If you just drive like a nanna it will be totally fine.

It will run sweet. Dont sweat it. As said just nurse it along gently off boost and it will be fine given of course that your DIY installs are fine.
