Default Which 4 out of these 5??

Looking at getting some gauges for my car once the mods are finished. Will have 5 spaces available and one is going to be boost obviously.

engine mods to car will be:

Vf34
FMIC
Autronic ECU
Walbro 500hp pump
Silicon intake
Pod and CAI
full zorst
Standard injectors if they are up to it.
Standard internals..

Now based on around the 190-200kw atw and running antilag on occasion, which 4 of these would be the most important to have:

Oil Pressure
Oil Temp
Water Temp
Fuel Pressure
EGT

I'm leaning towards leaving the water temp out as there is a stock gauge already (though I know how crap they are), wondering what other peoples opinions are...

cheers

Brett

I'd go Oil pressure, Water temp and EGT as a must. Oil pressure is nice but if your going flat tack and you lose pressure you dont have much time to react before lots of damage occurs.

personal opinion

all are bling
the one that is kinda useful is EGT
but i would get one of them knock link sensors instead - at least it will pick up the pinging, even if its minor before those gauges does

Oil Pressure
Oil Temp
Water Temp
Fuel Pressure

More than likely by the time you look at one of these, its too late and how many ppl actually drive and look at their gauges (other than the boost) all the time?

Thanks for the opinions guys..

Will be defi links, so all will be set up with warning light and buzzer so I don't have to be watching them all the time..

Will the knocklink work with the autronic, I just assumed you needed to be running a Link to use it...

The turboxs knock link sensor plugs into the knock link sensor on the ECUs, so it will work if the aftermarket ecu has that function.
Most aftermarket ECU have that

I wouldn't waste $ on the gauges. Its cop and thief bait
Better off spending it on performance mods

I have oil pressure & I think it's kina a waste. On idle it fluctuates between 40/60 which seems like a fair drop. I think by the time that told you anything useful it'd be too late.

I'd go fule pressure or temp if I had my time over. Since you have five tho you'll be laughing. Altho there's a water gauge already in there a warning light would be extremely handy.

Also a mate was telling me that there is only one company now days that make electronic gauges in japan. They then sell them to HKS, Defi, Apexi ect who then brand them.
