Default Instructions for Removing Exhaust Housing

All,

Anyone have some easy instructions on how to remove the exhaust housing on the IHI turbos. I want to swap the housing from my VF36 to my PE1820.

I have been told, by people here, that this is possible.

cheers

remove the circlip for the wastegate arm and unbolt and remove the actuator

undo the bolt for the v-band clamp.

the housing should come off easy now. If not, give it some light knocks with the back of a screwdriver. while holding the turbo up by the front housing with the rear housing pointing straight down.
You can also put a flat head screw driver between the center cartridge and rear housing to lever it out if its really stuck. Do it slowly applying pressure around the whole circumference of the V-band flange.
