I'm not 100% sure how to do this but it has already been done on my black car. You're welcome to drop over and have a look as I'm installing a boost controller so I'll have the dash open. Otherwise do a google search, I'm sure there will be a diagram on the net somewhere.

Oh, not sure if it helps but my push start button is made by ignited so maybe check their web site first.

PM me if you want to drop over and have a look at mine.

EDIT: just found this - should get you going in the right direction anyway - http://www.instructables.com/id/Push...-for-your-Car/

What's the point if you still need to put the key in and turn it to on anyway?
Might as well just turn the key that tiny bit more to start it.

Fair enough if you've got a key with a transponder that only needs to be in your pocket to start it.

Not as good looking as the STi one but there is a Zero Sports one
available.

If you still need your key in ignition then a push button is only going to slow you down starting it.

No need to rush the ignition process not like your going to start the
car and launch it straight away at 7000.

If you want to do it mate then do it, don't listen to others as it's your
car not theirs.

I love sti and wanking as much as anyone here but the start button is a waste imo. You get the sti button at japaparts or nengun

There is a push button for the Evo X... Despite having a transponder key, you still need to turn the car 'on' (there is a fake key for those who don't know) then push the button.

Audi style push button would be better imo.
