Quick query - Doing the twinscroll setup as you know with a STi oil pan for the new headers. The kit from JapanParts includes everything bar the oil pan baffle plate.

There is a baffle inside the pan itself but there is a separate piece bolted to the bottom of the block which I might need to replace.

My query is - can I continue using the baffle plate I have or do I need the STi one? Had a search through heaps of threads on iwsti & nasioc, both are saying yes reuse it & no needs STi plate. Mines off a 02 Forester, EJ205.

Has anyone done it before & can comment?

The shape of the pan where it meets the block is the same so really if comes down to the design of the baffle itself?
