Never happened just whilst i was doing my apprenticeship i always had it drilled into my head..!

Heard some horror stories about airbag's going off whilst attempting to be removed..

I had this same issue resolved at subaru
they found the clock spring in mine to be ok
so they unplug and reconnected all the air bag related connectors and the problem disappeared

If the clockspring's broken the horn won't function. So obviously it's still ok.
