Default 99 wrx engine making knocking,rattle,ticking noise
hey guys just want some help on whats wrong with my car

i went to start my car then sat in there while it was warming up backed it out of the garage and got out and closed the garage when i noticed a weird noise coming out the engine bay went to check it out what it was it seems to be around the turbo side of the engine has a loud knocking kinda noise im pretty sure the engines f$%ked

yep i pretty much check all the liquids every week i think its time for a 207 i will upload a video soon and you guys can check it out

Sounds F'ed to me. My car sounded like that when i spun a big end bearing.

Yeah, big end I reckon. My engine sounded like that when I killed it, but I have not pulled the block apart to confirm that just yet.

check all your spark plug leads are on good ask rossco what mine sounded like one night when one of my leads came off! sounded exactly like that and it was just arking of the block
