First of all thanks to all of those that gave help with strut bar install.

I have had a rattle coming from exhuast now for awhile and have sorced the problem to a broken bracket/mount, thats easy to fix once Ive welded up(or found someone to do it for me!). But have now noticed crack in the heat shield around turbo. Any suggestion on how to fix, and what my opions are. i.e. stay stock and replace or is there another alternative?

May not seem to important but that is where is anoying rattle pinging is coming from.

I'd leave it and live with it if its only small, although heat sheild needs to come off if you are replacing your exhaust with a brand new turbo back one (cough cough). If its a substantial crack, get another stock one or tack it with a mig depending on how pretty you want it to look. But leave it on. Heat management is a winner, expecially with the turbo being so close to your intercooler
