Default OBD warning light (what to do)

Hey guys came down a freeway entrance lane and decided to gun it to 100 Kms and then an amber warning light came on as i was building up speed and i have never seen this before and instantly got worried, oh i have a 2001 bugeye by the way. Refered to my owner manual which advised this warning is a obd warning. I have spoken to Joe (balistic( he advised i might need a tester machine or something along those lines to test if its a sensor etc etc.

I did turn the car off to cool down and see if the light turned off and it never did, so this is the part where i start to worry, but did drive her home carefully and she never missed a beat so not sure what s going on.

So any info would be great or anyone who ever had the same problem and what they did about would be great, cheers guys
