Default Slipping clutch

My my00 wrx has got a heavy duty clutch, when I take off slowly or fast it slips alittle, I've been told it's probably a glazed flywheel. It's not bad but it's noticable. My question is how do you combat this problem? Replace flywheel with a better one or just a standard one?

You can just get your current flywheel machined, Machine shops will do it for around the $50 mark. Getting it out then back in is another thing.

I'm thinking about getting it machined but if I stay with that stock flywheel what's the chance of it getting glazed?

Yeh that's what I thought, my mate glazed it just after he put the clutch in. Excuse my ignorance but what driving style would have caused it? Doing high rpm starts? Riding the clutch?

Riding the clutch would contribute the most to a glazed flywheel.
