Default Enkei's 17 or 18?

Will be getting a set of black RPF1's + new tyres (getting rid of my dreaded maxxis') later in the year.

My question is a common one (to which there are a lot of different answers)

17inch or 18 inch?

my understanding is that for daily driving + track-work + relatively comfortable ride = 17inch (please do correct if I am wrong)

I use the car as a daily but I do track work (becoming more frequent as I learn to drive the car better).

would like your opinions/advice

Shane.

If its a GD, definitely 18s.

I'm a huge believer in going up 1" if you're going to change your wheels.. if you're going to stick with the same size, just keep your stock rims.

Definitely go 18s on a GD.

18x9 with angry offset. like +35. Roll the guards and something like 245/40 tyres.

Really fill out the wheel arches.

the RPF1 is a small looking rim, the spokes don't go all the way to the lip. I have them in 17" on my car and often get comments about my 16s

I'd go 18's on your 06 as 17's look small but some rims do look
small in general as Mat said.

18x8.5 or 9 with 245's would go nicely but if your going to
do Motorsport then maybe go 17x8.5-9 as the tyres are a liltle
bit cheaper, depends on how much you want to spend really.

Can you get the RPF1 in 18's (the tech9tyres site lists an 18inch package)?

if not, Could always opt for some 18" O.Z. UL's

just remember to think about the cost of tyres, r spec tyres in 18's can be quite dear!

Here is a GD with (they look like 18's) 18" RPF's, though my car will never be that low
