Default noise!!! Pls help

While i was driving today.. i notice a rattling noise from the engine area...it only happen when i release my accelerator in my third gear( between 3000 to 2000 rmp). Need some advices. not sure if it is a engine problem, clutch, or gear box problem...

Might be the down pipe, was the problem on my old wrx.

Make sure all your heat shields are tight.

what model do you have?

I get the same rattle when decellerating from 3-2k . i think its the up pipe heat shield

I get a rattle then too. It's part of my exhaust or something thats making the rattle because they removed my heat shield. Thats what the boys at tenegah said. They also said a full turbo back system would fix the problem

ocasionally you can hear the little flapper piece of the gate rattling around, very uncommon tho..

I meant wastegate flutter....i had the same problem. I just put more load on the wastegate and problem fixed.

but everything on my MY01 are stock standard..... would it still be the problem of my up pipe????
