Default 2pot rear calipers - where to get pistons?

So I bought a set of 2pot rear calipers. They came disassembled. I saw pics before I bought them but didn't realize that the pistons were missing. So now I'm stuck with calipers I can't use.

Milton at Subaru Melville says Subaru only sell the calipers as a complete unit. I didn't both asking the price as it would be crack.
He mentioned that a decent brake place can probably supply the pistons.

I've given the calipers to the best brake place I know of around here (Perth Brake Parts). They've phoned all their parts suppliers and even sent my calipers over to their main supplier and they cannot source the correct pistons.

Anyone have any idea where to get suitable pistons from?

thanks.

nah the guy I got them off didn't know either. He bought them like that a year or two ago and would have found out the hard way like me too if he'd have used them (I think he went Brembo instead).

thanks for the tip I'll keep that in mind.

Try places like race brakes in Melbourne, you must be able to get them as they are a servicable item

I have a spare set of skyline calipers that you can buy for the pistons.

$100 for the pair

Ring or go into JWS, they might be able to help you out.

Id be searching online for overseas suppliers since finding stuff local can be a bit of epic facepalm!

Nengun sell Project Mu replacement piston kits for OEM calipers.. i bet its cheaper than buying genuine Subaru!

I got the usual level of help from JWS lol - "nar mate we got no calipers".
That's right....they apparently have NO brake calipers what-so-ever, let alone separate parts for calipers.

Can anybody confirm if those Nissan calipers definitely have the exact same pistons? If they do then I'll buy those off you for sure Type25.

On the topic of 2 pot rears... Can I swap the whole caliper from my single piston to 2 pots?

Yes as long as you buy the whole assembly (Backing Plates etc)
