Get the new Alpine IVA-D310E....very shmick unit. Plays everything you want it to basically, and you can buy the ipod adaptors for them. Also has 7inch screen and has the "pulse touch" display.

I used to have the older model in my GTR and it was tops!

Go down to Alberts in Myaree. Ask for Dave. Tell em Dan sent you. He'll look after you

Unlike Dan... just make sure you keep your eyes on the road at least some of the time.

Dave'll definately take care of you Jamie, he just hooked me up with a ton of gear for sfa!

Is that the update of the previous iva D300 unit ???

i remember the last unit being very sensitive and not being able to play anything at all - in mpg avi etc - im interested in a alpine unit that can play everything

if this thing is a newer unit i would be real keen to here about it ey,

Yeah the 310E is the updated model of the 300.

Best bet would be to go down and have a look see for yourself.

I've looked at the Pioneer units myself, and personally I prefer the Alpine deck.

Each to their own though.... Whatever tickles your prostate.

issues with IVA -D310E or 300's are no multi region, picky on copied media.

310E saw new firmware which handled MP3 dvd's (yes 4.3Gb of mp3's) fully listed and sorted proper. The 300 firmware only allowed a limit of 250 - 256 titles to be displayed and it often carked it if it tried to play after that limit.

However... if you are fortunate enough and have access to the Alpine DVD firmware disc, many of your prayers will be answered.

5750 is a far better buy..
can be had online for around 1000 bucks and make a solid cash offer at jbs, you'd prolly end up with that -close to- price there anyway
