Default Clutch giving me shits

Hey guys, was just driving tonight and somethings has gone wrong with my clutch (on my 97 gc8 wrx) it still works and can change gear and pull away and stuff, but when i do it feels "different" like when i have it pushed in slightly the pedal vibrates and feels sloppy, just doesn't feel the same. Also when i pull away the car sounds like it struggles like as if im not giving it enough revs, but it happens even if im reving quite high. Dont think the clutch has gone, just maybe a small issue maybe/hopefully?
Any ideas?
Cheers guys, all feedback very appreciated.

Does it feel like there's not much in the pedal? or play in the pedal? Coz that might be the slave cylinder..

Yer when i push the pedal about half way in theres a lot of play, but when i push it all the way in it feels fine. How much we speaking $$$ if it is the slave cylinder?
Cheers for the feedback

Check your clutch fluid level and for leaks around the hose and slave clyinder.

its common for the rubber hose from the slave to the hard metal hoses to split and leak, id check that first

Just checked car, all the hoses seem to be connected and it seems to be full of fluid. When its dipped slightly it vibrates quite a lot and you can hear something kind of clicking in the engine. Got my dad to take a look and he thinks it might have something to do with the flywheel. It only clicks when the clutched is about halfway in, once its all the way in or out it seems fine.
Anymore idea's? Cheers

could be the clasp that holds the release bearing to the pressure plate, if its buckled/stretched it might have a little movement.

clutch out to inspect though.
