Get your 600 dollar exhaust, then lay it next to a Butler system. Better yet, fit them in your driveway back to back... youll soon see Kewdale 1, China 0.

You get what you pay for. 'Do it once - do it properly' springs to mind......

Add headers too for full advantage. Either length, depending on your pref.

And dawn, speak to [FOBZ] re any Varex Q's.

Brent.

+1. You'll have no regrets with a Butler.

Default What are people opinions regarding the Dylan Spec

Seems that a few people have a system from WRXWAGGON.

People that have them are you happy with the outcome?
Seems like a very good price.

Cheers Tim

I have had a Dylan spec 3" turbo back on my my03 for almost 2 years now. Very pleased. No issues whatsoever.
That being said, I'm not putting out massive hp and the car is a daily driver. I would prob look at other applications if I was going to be tracking the car.

My 2c.

Does anyone know the size of the stock exhaust on a 2.5lt 2006?
I put a 3" SS TBE on my old 97 and with out a tune it would have given my an easy 10-15% gain IMO.
I've had my 2006 model for a few months now. She has a K&N pannel filter but thats about it.
I love how quiet it is to drive thoe. I want more power and am considering a tune, but it might be a bit of a waste with out the exhaust.......
Also when you guys are quoting around 2K for the butlet TBE from MMS does that include a tune?
Can any one here with the butler TBE comment on the noise? I full stop dont want to hear anything when just coasting along

Price is for exhaust only, tune will be extra.
I think if you don't want to hear anything you may be better off with the standard exhaust. If you want to hear what a Butler system sounds like & you're going to the C. McRae rally there will be a several people attending with these systems fitted to their vehicles, including myself. If you need to hear what it's like from inside the vehicle then pm me & we can tee something up.

Depending on what sort of driving you do, noise can be a serious issue.
Noise outside the car- If it is louder than legal will make for tiring driving, and you will be pulled up. Inside the car, noise may be even more important. Noise inside the car is bad but droning makes driving a struggle. Some of the better exhaust brands have tested on a range of vehicles.
Droning - a resonance when the car structure amplifies the sound over a range of rpm. The driver will sub-consciously avoid that rpm range so getting poor performance and economy.
grumpyrex's suggestion is good advice - ride in few different cars.
