Default smoke from around the turbo area??

i parked up about 20mins ago when i noticed what looked like smoke coming from around the turbo... i noticed it in the dark with a shitty torch so it may be as simple at steam but im just curious to know, what could this be if it is smoke?

i checked the gauges and there isnt anything abnormal, or anything flashing. i've left it alone to let it cool for tonight and will check it out tomorrow morning for leaks or other stuff

Just went through this process myself. In my case it was the coolant return hose off the turbo. $16 or so for the genuine Subaru part. Took a bit of fiddling around as it's in a tricky spot but definitely a DIY job.

ok sweet. i'll check that.

a mate has just suggested that it could be something to do with the oil sender for my oil pressure gauge but im just assuming that has nothing to do with it?
